Super Chic Fashion Week2022

BY LATIFA PINNOCK

I had the pleasure of attending the Super Chic Fashion show over the weekend, and let me just say, kudos to the organizers of the show. The minute I walked in and introduced myself, I received the VIP treatment. I was seated right in the from row, with a clear view of the stage, and I was really impressed with the fact that the entire show was operated right on schedule.

There was a total of four designers, each showcasing some lovely one-of-a-kind pieces, and the models were as diverse as it gets.

As a fashion designer, it was nice being on the other side of the fence, I got the chance to sit in the audience as a spectator, witnessing some amazing talent presented by such brands as Bella Fashion Design, Bindi fashion Design, Love Lee Design and Princess Jewel Attire. The event took place at the luxurious Hilton, located in Downtown, Toronto. These designers are certainly on the path to greatness.

The highlight of the evening was having the opportunity to personally meet and chat with Nora Marvilli, who is the CEO of Bella Fashion Designs, based in Pembroke Pines, Florida.

Bella Fashion Designs who have a huge social media presence, is well known for their Super Chic events, hosting fashion shows across the country. (@bellafashiondesigns223). Their designs are top tier, and they specialize in men’s, women’s, and children’s apparel. Nora Marvilli is also a managing partner for the Super Chic Fashion show, and it was wonderful to have them in our city.

My absolute favorite part of the entire evening was seeing the kids’ fashion, something we don’t get to see very often in these types of show. These little tykes and tweens graced that runway in some of the cutest outfits. I was very surprised at how coordinated they were, and they all looked like they were having a blast. Such naturals!

The fashion industry in Toronto is growing. Events like the Super Chic Fashion week is a great way for local designers to give their brands more recognition. We have way too much talent in this city for it to be kept a secret. I had the pleasure of speaking with a few of the designers on the red carpet, and I was so impressed to hear a little bit about their journey. Truly amazing talent, and I hope to see them all in even bigger shows.

Thank you to Nora Marvilli and her team for organizing this amazing event, and for bringing Super Chic Fashion Week 2022 to Toronto, Canada. We hope to have them back next year and it would be an honor to have my brand included in such a well organized, super fun, Super Chic Fashion show.

Everyday is a fashion show, and the world is your runway!
