How dangerous is the OAS Agenda to Canadian families?

Family is everything; it keeps us grounded and gives us a sense of purpose, a neighbourhood, a reason to keep on going. Therefore, anything or any entity that goes against the natural order of this is an enemy of civilization and, by extension, humanity.

At a recent Organization of American States OAS session, Ambassador Ronald Sanders of Antigua and Barbuda called defending life “An attack on governments.” He told every host country in the room: deal with it the same way we did.

This year, all banners, signs, and flags that oppose the narrative are officially banned, and the one space where civil society is supposed to speak is effectively muzzled. Radical feminists, globalist NGOs, and pro-abortion activists are working to influence the OAS and rewrite international law in private as we speak.

As if this is not bad enough, Canada’s own ambassadors are collaborating with them to force ambassadors from across Latin America to approve a Political Declaration that would give them the power to:

• Embed gender ideology into binding resolutions, threatening the very definition of family, womanhood, and biological reality.
• Force nations to legalize abortion, use OAS resolutions and foreign aid funded by your taxes as leverage.
• Legitimize surrogacy and euthanasia, attacking the right to life from both ends, from conception to natural death.

 The man overseeing that process is currently under investigation for corruption, nepotism, and fiscal misconduct. A confidential Trump administration memo that just leaked to the press describes OAS Secretary General Albert Ramdin as someone who “Seems more than willing to bend the rules to accommodate his inner circle.”

Even though he knew his hand-picked Chief of Staff was facing criminal charges in her own country for fraud and money laundering. He promoted her anyway. What is worse is that North and South American, including Canadian, taxpayers are now funding her salary, which is higher than that of the US Secretary of State.

The good news is that Argentina, El Salvador, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, and the United States are in that room. So are Chile, Costa Rica, and the Dominican Republic all with new governments elected on clear pro-life, pro-family mandates.

Yet, this cannot be leaned too heavily. Why may you ask? These governments are under enormous pressure, especially from Canada. The abortion lobby does not show up with pamphlets; it shows up with money, diplomatic threats, and promises of international isolation for any country that does not fall in line with its agenda. In the past, some delegations have walked in brave and came out compromised; therefore, being watchful and having integrity is where it is.

I will highlight solutions in closing but let us look at Canada’s role in this monster of an organization. Unbelievably, Canada is now the second-largest donor to the OAS, behind only the United States.

This year, the United States cut its contributions to these funds by nearly half, precisely to stop this agenda. Ottawa did the opposite. The federal government increased Canada’s contributions to fill the gap left by the Americans.

Even though most Canadian families are suffering financially now, their money is being shipped south to bankroll the very machine pushing abortion and gender ideology onto nations that never asked for it. Even Canada’s own Auditor General has said Global Affairs Canada cannot prove this kind of foreign spending achieves anything at all.

Here is what Canada has become famous for recently. Canada is one of the only nations on earth with no legal limit on abortion at any stage of pregnancy, none written in its criminal law at all.

Canada legalized euthanasia and then expanded it so quickly that Canadians have been offered death when what they needed was housing, care, or a little more help to keep living. Gender ideology has been written into schools, hospitals, and courts, and parents who object are treated as criminals.

The architects of this madness are using Canada as a blueprint to export the abortion regime, the euthanasia culture, and the gender experiment that have wounded so many Canadian families and using Canada’s wealth and Canada’s seat at the OAS to press them down like a stamp onto countries from Mexico to Argentina.

Now what must be done. Remember the OAS Secretary General, Albert Ramdin? He is now at the center of a major corruption scandal. A confidential Trump administration memo, titled “Diplomacy or Dynasty? The Credibility Crisis at the OAS” has just been leaked to the press.

It calls for an independent investigation, accusing him of nepotism, fiscal recklessness, and blatant disregard for member states. The United States, which funds 50% of the OAS budget, is now demanding his accountability.

The governments of Argentina, El Salvador, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, and the United States were all elected on the same mandate: to defend life, family, and national sovereignty. Chile, Costa Rica, and the Dominican Republic have also joined them: pro-family governments that owe their voters a clear stand at this Assembly.

This is the time to hold every one of them accountable and ask Canada to stop standing on the wrong side of history.
