Aina-Nia Ayo’dele is on a mission to transform the lives of: Black, Indigenous and racialized women through her Sacred Leader Training (SLT +). Details about this upcoming leadership program were released in a press release issued on Monday, November 20^th, 2023. The leadership program encapsulates a decolonized approach to leadership and is the brainchild of Aina-Nia Ayo’dele a: leadership development trainer, coach and ancient spirituality teacher

The website:aina-nia.com describes aspects of the SLT+ program as a unique experience for women who are leading in any area of life. It invites women who are ready for a radical shift in life transformation, to learn and grow with like-minded women leaders, in a flourishing sacred community. It is specifically for BIPOC women who are: in mid-management to senior leadership positions, who are leading organizations, boards, teams, and, or their own businesses.

In order to be eligible for the 10-month leadership journey, participants must be:

• Willing to commit to do the work that cultivates SELF Joy
• Ready to journey alongside Aina-Nia’s tutelage and support to release: confusion, sorrow, shame, guilt, imbalance, overwhelm and self-sacrifice
• Able to take responsibility to cultivate a life on purpose, and live a life envisioned- business, career, relationship, health etc
• Interested in being a Light Mirror for yourself first and then for the world

Some of the topics that will be covered during the non-conventional leadership program include:

• Life Vision Manifestation
• Balance & Boundaries
• SELF Acceptance
• Forgiveness
• Restoration and Preservation
• Ancient Healing Rituals
• Spiritual Activism
• African Spiritual Feminism and Sexual Power
• Dream Interpretation

The curriculum of SLT+ is grounded in Indigenous African wisdom practices and universal spiritual principles, and the process is intentional about ensuring women become clear on their life visions (why are they on this planet at this time) and live fully their purpose.

Several females who participated in the program in the past expressed their support of it.  Mathew, City of Toronto Business Services Manager states, “All of the sisters (in SLt+) tell you who you are.”

Chiedza Pasipanodya, artist and curator notes, “I had a very clear understanding that I needed an African-centered leadership process at the time.”

Verlia Stephens, Social Worker and Assistant Professor benefited from her participation in the program as it helped her to overcome imposter syndrome in her professional life. She states, “This process made me confront making myself really small and why I am doing that.”

The start date of the program is January 14^th, 2024, and group learning circles will be held every 2nd Sunday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm for the 10-month duration. There will be a mid-way overnight retreat on May 12^th, 2024, and there will be an international culmination retreat for five days in a space where Indigenous African ways are still practices from October 13^th to 17^th. Any Black, Indigenous and racialized women who are interested in this journey can submit an application and should do so by December 23^rd, 2023.
